Aerial & Performance Art

On stage since the tender age of four, Lucky De Souza continues to travel down the road of performing arts.

Fame, pain and strain, the spectacle of life.

This journey began in a modest gym with a lion costume between the mountains and sea, in beautiful BC. But this lion wanted to fly! Enough with jumping through hoops and balancing on balls, “It is time to soar!” she roared, and so she did.

Today she is still searching the four corners of the world, dancing about with a face full of make-up, and stretching ever further from each of her limbs.

Her style is dynamic and powerful.  Fluid and elegant or wild and absurd. Full of emotion, her exuberant presence is embodied on stage.

From her exposure to professional circus and schooling including CircusWest (Vancouver, BC),  Circus Space (London, UK), and École Léotard (Montreal, QC), she has moulded her craft and artistry in aerial circus and performance art.

Working with renowned coach Victor Fomine at École Léotard, Lucky has refined her circus skill set with a focus on aerial straps.
